The Johnson Singer Foundation

The Floyd C. Johnson & Flo Singer Johnson Foundation is an independent, private foundation providing financial resources to enhance, nurture, and protect the arts, animals, wildlife and the environment. The foundation is governed by a small board, comprised mostly of individuals who knew the founders personally. All board members and part-time staff work to carry on the legacy of the founders, Floyd C. Johnson and Flo Singer Johnson, by serving their community and the mission of the foundation.

Diane Barth:
Board President

Keith A. Pittenger: Treasurer

Keith A. Pittenger is a tax partner with Bobbitt, Pittenger & Company, P.A. He has over thirty years of public accounting experience with emphasis on tax and financial planning for businesses and individuals. Mr. Pittenger’s clients are in areas of health care, real estate, construction, charitable and not-for-profit activities, banking, retail, agribusiness and manufacturing. As a member of the Florida Bar, Mr. Pittenger has represented clients in Federal Tax Court and in local office audits.

Jose Joia: Board Member

Jose joined the Johnson Singer Foundation, finding an opportunity to contribute and help the community. Jose holds a Bachelors degree in Business Finance from the University of Central Florida and also a Masters in Hospitality Management with an emphasis on financial studies and feasibility studies of hotel operations. After passing his Series 65 exam (Uniform Investment Adviser Law Examination, covering laws, regulations, ethics and topics such as retirement planning, portfolio management strategies and fiduciary responsibilities), and obtaining his license, Jose joined Rudd International Asset management in Sarasota working as the Assistant Portfolio manager.

Browyn Sherman: Administrative Manager

Browyn began working for the foundation in an administrative capacity in 2016. She earned her Bachelors Degree in Theatre Arts from Loyola University Chicago and has since spent time working with a variety of non-profit organizations. She is currently the Development Operations Manager of The Sofia, Home of B Street Theatre, a non-profit arts organization serving children and the community of Sacramento, CA. Browyn is an alumni of the Next Generation Fellows program through Exponent Philanthropy where she enjoyed learning more about ways to support non-profit organizations.
